The new associates’ first day was today. It should have brought back memories but it did not. Because I came in in November and was the only new associate then. I had to go for the basic tax course with the corporate tax people. I never did things the easy way.

It is going to be LSW’s first anniversary at work tomorrow and this Friday will be her last day. I am sad. It would be even sadder actually but because of work and the hassle of it, I know that before I know it, it will be Friday and she will be off to a greener pasture. That is the problem with work. People leave and it makes you upset. But you forget their existence after awhile. Sometimes you chat on msn and try to make an effort to meet up. But as time passes, sometimes people forget.

But kudos to Little Miss LSW. She must be like the most patient girl in the office, putting up with my jabbering and mutterings to myself. We braved pig & goat together. Bitching about certain managers on the job. Existing in the lonely corner that we are banished to quite happily.

Seow says it is difficult to leave this place. I do agree. I should go but where?
