I only go to movies for the popcorn

Now I know another reason why I do not watch movies. They bring me into a world where I do not live but wish I did. Where the guy quits his job and travels across the ocean for the girl. Where violins play in the background when strangers meet for the first time, their gazes interlocking across the busy restaurant. The movies do not tell you the real ending where the real world collides and not really exactly happily after prevails. That is the real life that I know and perhaps as I have agreed with Kimmy, reading all those story books when I was growing up destroyed my perspective of reality.
