The special treatment started with C and Jas posing with the snake by allowing to cut queue. Then during the tribal show where we were eating dinner, one of the dudes came to pick C as the volunteer. She got to dance around and play with balloons with the hot sweaty wearing loin cloth men. Wang calling out ‘Kiss Kiss Kiss’ from the background. Then there was that Giant python in which we were forced to pose with.

We walked on the trails with those with Night Blindness (Seow, HP and me) having to hang on to those blessed with more privileged eyesight and screaming for the animals to show up. Until a zookeeper told Seow to not stamp her feet because the animals have sensitive hearing. Upon learning that those said animals vegetarians, Wang declared that we were not interested in vegetarians and prodded the Fairy Party to Move On.

The staff at the zoo were very kind to actually reserve an entire row for the mad party to sit on. Just 5 minutes before the ‘Creatures of the Night’ show was starting, we rushed to the entrance of the amphitheatre. It was as though we were at a restaurant checking out restaurant. We finally got our seats, with the people around us whispering ‘It’s reserved for them?’.

Finally it was the tram ride, I sat with Seow (Flu Fairy Senior and Junior) and we saw the animals. ‘Oh that’s where they were hiding’. The deers (Hello Bambi), the tigers (it takes 3 tigers to make one fur coat), the tapirs (eeks where are they? Oh chey.), the lion that roared many many times and then rested (does he have asthma?).
