Awful Taken for Granted

They all take me for granted. I am always there when they need me but when I need them they are never found. When they whine to me about the same thing over and over and over again, I always listen. But when I do the same, they choose to ignore me. I always try my best to cheer them up and always try to help them. I guess they do not understand how much they mean to me. I do not understand why. They used to be my first priority and I would do almost anything for them. I may be self absorbed but my friends mean the world to me. But in the end, who cares?
