The Internet Highway – The road to fame
What is fascinating about technology these days, namely the World Wide Web is the ability that it has to transform potential into result faster than a speeding bullet. With everyone and anyone able to access works of art and talent with a few taps of the keyboard and a click of the button, ordinary everyday people are catapulted into internet celebrity that last longer than the normal 5 minutes of fame.
And one lucky Internet Darling is Miss Tokyobanhbao. From what I have gathered, (she blogs in French), Miss Tokyobanhbao lives in Paris. Besides the usual street style pictures that flood blogs everywhere, this girl’s artistic gift is displayed in the cartoon drawings of Miss Tokyobibi. Tokyobibi wears the clothes the real like Tokyobanhbao dreams of wearing (Chloe, etc) and she models trends and outfits that her creator pulls from French and Japanese magazines. Tokyobanhbao dresses with the laidback characteristic of the Japanese street style found in most Nihongo Zasshi, with comfy, loose layers. The Japanese are fond of loading their magazines with crowded pages of ordinary Japanese girls on the street. I hate to admit that I am rather enamoured with her but with her short hair styled in such a way I can only wish that I can force my bangs into, her easy and accessible clothes, loose and from mainly from H&M and her penchant for fringed Moccasin booties (a girl after my own heart).

Miss Tokyobanhbao and the perfect fall outfit.
Well, Miss Tokyobanhbao’s first illustrated book will be out next year and it will be based on (what else) shopping. She has fans and they lined up to get her autograph at Festiblog in September which she drew a quick caricature of everyone.
The internet. A place where dreams come true.
