This is what true love looks like.

Like my mother when she is in my room, commenting on the mess. Just goes on and on and on. I really wonder where the hell she gets the stamina and energy when no one pays attention to her.

This weekend, I did:-
+ I got bangs
+ I went to Gracie’s house for potluck (in Janice’s honour) and Seow almost got fined
+ I went to Ahma’s house and got fined
+ I went to see the Pig and my mother stayed in the car because there was no place to park outside the Buddhist society
+ Finished Touch Detective on the Nitendo DS
+ Wang, Kat, my mother and I went to Qian Hu to let fish bite and IMM for dinner and daiso

This weekend, I did not:-
+ I did not go to work (yay!)
+ I did not go to yoga (Boo)

+ Join a yoga place and do yoga at least 3 times a week
+ Do more exercise besides yoga
+ Start writing again
+ Try to keep home and work desk relatively neat (whatever happened to Little Miss Tidy?)
+ Do something about my nose problems
+ Wear glasses more (also excuse to make new spectacles)
+ Learn to crochet
+ No more gadgets and bags
+ Be less materialistic (hard but must try, a little also good)
+ Attempt to be more sociable

20 December: Public Holiday – Hari Raya Haji
21 December: Botak Jones with hall people
22 December: some random jazz concert with Hsing, Sam and Jeryl.
23 December: The laney’s village gathering at Raffles Marina
24 December: Work Holiday because they were feeling generous, Gracie’s house for Christmas Party, The laney’s house for dinner
25 December: Merry Christmas
26 December: Day off to meet Mich
31 December: Work Holiday because they were feeling very very generous, possible countdown with The laney’s cronies in random hotel room
1 January: Happy new year darlings! Wii party at Sharon’s with the tennis girls.

Does Awful need another watch? Hell yes, I cannot possibly wear my watches on holiday especially if it is to the beach…..

P.S. I have not bought this……. yet.

Decisions decisions decisions.

Into the month of November and I had this bad sore throat which rendered me not sleeping well. The doctor gave me a 2 day MC which I was not like pleased with. ‘I only need one day.’ ‘But you need rest.’ Then after awhile, I think to myself, it is off peak now, screw it. I recall of every single morning that I wake up and want to call in Family Care (FC) or Urgent Leave (UL).

The month of November! My birthday month. So very pleased. I have not been looking forward to my birthday so much since NUStupid (heh) because work is so duh that we have to have something to look forward to.

If I was going to have a party this year, but only if because I do not think I have any time and energy and dough to spend planning a my sweet twenty fifth, I would totally go for these customised M&Ms in Pink and Green saying Awful’s 25!, tres Lily Pulitzer no?

So this is the time to make my birthday list. For me to chart down the items that I intend to SPLURGE on for my 25th. Why not? It passes the days faster.

I just really am into Totes. This carrot jonquil pinic tote really got my heart pumping.

Ever since I got my hair chopped short, I realised just why guys wore caps so often. Because they are freaking lazy to wax and style their hair. As a fellow lazer, I have included two new caps for weekend use.

This one from Adidas is reminscent of an model Aryan boy (i.e. abit Nazi).

I got another one in army green from Roxy (couldn’t find the picture online) that is more along the lines of communist china.

And this Wool Khangai Tie Hat from Stewart+Brown is really really cool. But sigh, wool is not good for here.

Caps and hats, another accessory to obssess over. My colleague asked why I do not have pierced ears. As if I can deal with another whole range of things to buy. Heh.

Ooh, look at this staple-less Cat or Dog Stapler. I really would like to see how it works. Only in the US of A or Japan or anywhere else but here.

But I got these pink AdiZeros from Queensway for running on Monday, so light and such a joy to run in (yah actually after 1 km, it does not really matter). Have succeeded in jogging (I call it running) 3.3 km. Yay!
