Every year I buy a dress to wear for my birthday. It is my birthday dress and it is usually worn only once. This year’s dress has not been found yet but it would be very very very very very nice to have this Alice McCall dress.
It fits every requirement I have for my dream dresses:
1. Sleeved.
2. Short.
3. Colourful.
You know that you are not suited for the climate of an area when you begin to sweat walking outdoors for 7 minutes.
But that does not stop me from putting this Webster Mica Jacket on my wish list. Very Jackie O, brocade, perfect with everything.

I have always found cycling (and not spinning) an enjoyable way to spend one’s time and take in certain sights. Although the butt does take a beating after that but the inability to sit down comfortably is a price to pay for old fashioned fun.
I always had an idle daydream of having one of those pink two wheelers with a white horn and curved handles (not like the mountain bikes or stationary bikes that one would have to bend down and kill one’s back to reach), ala American’s suburban model white family.
Wishlist item: this Schwinn Sierra Tandem. Gorgeous ain’t she? Puts all those rented tandem bicycles at East Coast to much shame.
It is only just October but I am already thinking about my birthday.
I do not think that I have thought about my birthday so far in advance ever. Perhaps the mundanity (my own word) of work and the lack of buzzed in people who I can chat to at work has relegated me to just surfing and thinking to myself.
Ballet flats are my favourite shoes. (I am trying to refrain from saying “I like …” as a colleague throws it around far too much. They are comfortable for a few hours of wear though with little or no support but the right ballet flats are quite a challenge to find. Therefore, I buy every ballet flat that I manage to find and feels so soft when I put my foot in it for the first 20 seconds.
The above French Sole low cut ballet flats are on my birthday wishlist. Love the zebra stripes and the red piping and ribbon. So chic. The list is getting longer, along with things that have always been there.
